#WineStudio: Nexgen in “Commuter” Wine Education

Every Monday evening, since its inception this past January, GUY and I have been “seen” online hosting our notorious Twitter program #WineStudio.  As with most online entities, GUY names the entire phenomenon “nebulous” at best. It’s part wine education, discussion, and peer conversation wrapped up into a one hour program each Monday evening, 6pm pst / 9pm pst all within the context of our motto: true wine culture. Instead, my mouth betrayed me and whispered “no.”  It’s as if she hadn’t seen a living soul in quite some time and she had … Read more →

Eh Oh! Where did you go?

Angela Osborne’s Incredible (Temporary) Departure… It took Tina a few years to figure out exactly what it meant when I cry out “Eh Oh!” in my finest Cockney accent every time the subject of Angela Osborne comes around.  One day Tina burst out in a dawning of understanding, “Oh!  You’re saying her initials!” It’s my unique way of greeting one of the finest women I know.  My friendship with Angela began almost a decade ago when she came to work at the WineSellar and Brasserie where I got my start … Read more →
