At PROTOCOL, we have created a dynamic business for ourselves and thus, our customers.  We are continually practicing what works best at our wine studio.  We’re finding that versatility and creativity become the building blocks of maintaining a space where we rise above the mere facility or retail establishment.  It’s with these elements in mind that we are proud to announce the launch of a new and exciting wine club project: Le Metro Wine Underground.

Our latest collaboration is with a gentleman who possesses the most ebullient personality we have encountered in the wine business.  Of all the talent in this wine world, Aaron Epstein has one of the finest palates on the scene today. He and GUY met at a local San Diego wine professionals tasting group and they hit it off immediately.

GUY and I have always wanted a wine club, but as we’ve experienced, in order to perform with substance and grit, we felt we needed an extra voice. Enter Aaron.  Within just a few months, we have dozens of Le Metro members and I attribute that to the well-balanced team we’ve built: part Aaron’s big presence and writing acumen and part our attention to logistical details.

This is an endeavor unlike any other we’ve known in the wine club scene. In fact, calling it a wine club does not do it justice. Le Metro is a wine experience. A subscription with Le Metro provides a tour through the less known extremities of wine with occasional stops in familiar environs.  The entire experience is packaged in a completely unique format.  Take just one ride on this train and you’ll be the hippest wine cat in your social circle.
