You like wine. You’re thinking you’d like to possibly take it further, take a few courses, perhaps one day switch careers. So now what? Which study track do you pursue? And how do you distinguish between them all?

Navigating the varied wine credentials can be daunting. So to start the 2015 New Year off in a forward-thinking direction, #WineStudio is going back to school! We’ve enlisted one of the hottest Sommelier schools in the country: San Francisco Wine School (SFWS) to help us navigate the myriad world of the wine professional. The school’s philosophy is a testament to their complete dedication to the burgeoning wine career: “Top industry credentialing programs need not compete, but rather share their student bases.”

In this collaborative spirit, our sessions will revolve around the top wine credentials: WSET, Master of Wine, Master Sommelier and Certified Wine Professional. To prepare, check out a little light reading from David Glancy, MS, CWE, CSS, FWS, Founder and CEO of SFWS: Clarifying Credential Blur.
