Calling all winemakers, musicians, artists, writers and chefs! Message me if you’d like to be a guest!

This is it! Our True Wine Culture program! Let’s discuss how wine, food, art and music are all connected and how each shapes us as individuals. The connections are  magical!

Embodying the True Wine Culture Lifestyle with Lyn Farmer
Tuesday December 1
9:00pm – 10:00pm EDT

We were lucky enough to have Lyn be an educational guest on a past #WineStudio and we’re happy he’s stuck around with us! Lyn has created a lifestyle of wine culture by incorporating wine, wine education, food, music and art into his life. Lyn is a true embodiment of a lifestyle of wine (which means much more than just wine.) And that’s exactly what PROTOCOL wine studio is truly all about.

Read Lyn’s most recent blog post: Growing, and Changing, with the Seasons and you’ll understand what I’m talking about, especially in regards to the business of wine. Change, growth – imperative to any career where the rules and players evolve at a quick rate.

Read up on Lyn’s career and let it be a lesson to all who aspire to a lifestyle of wine. Bring your fave drinks to the session and what music and art, oh, and food you’d pair.

The Label Collection with Cathy Huyghe
Tuesday, December 8

9:00pm – 10:00pm EDT

Cathy Huyghe – journalist, Chez Panisse alumna, philanthropist, traveler. We recently connected over social media and I’m thrilled to discuss her latest book endeavor Hungry for Wine where she details the nitty gritty of winemaking, the true wine culture if you will and of course it is quite dear to our hearts at PROTOCOL wine studio.

We’ll discuss what helped make Hungry for Wine a reality…such as her go-to recipes for a first night back after a long trip to a wine region far away and her dog’s leash, since most of her best ideas come during those early-morning walks together!

Le Metro Wine Featured Writer!

Cathy will be our featured writer in our November  Le Metro Wine collection featuring Dirty and Rowdy Family Winery! Click here to sign up for this special collection. Use coupon code ship surprise for free shipping on this collection!

Then choose a fave bottle (or two!) from the collection, pour a glass and get ready to talk!

Pin your bottle to the Hungry for Wine Pinterest board!

Tuning Your Palate with Paul Cullen
Tuesday, December 15

9:00pm – 10:00pm EDT

Paul Cullen, former bassist for rock band Bad Company, now cooks Italian and plays classical jazz guitar for private clients. Paul is an incredibly talented guitarist turned chef! I had the pleasure of working with Paul this past summer and was blown away by his ease and cooking acumen.

We’ll talk about Paul’s business, Tune Your Palate and his other cool happenings, like Eating Rehoboth. Being tagged as a renaissance man, Paul has perfected the trifecta of Music,Wine and Food. ”It’s all about Cool Music, Jazzy Wine and Divine Cuisine.”

Tasting:
Denny Bini-Podere Cipolla Lambrusco NV

Vallarom Trentino-Alto Adige Marzemino

PROTOCOL wine studio presents an online twitter-based educational program where we engage our brains and palates! It’s part instruction and tasting, with discussions on producers, varieties, tourism, terroir, regional culture, food matching and what all this means to us as imbibers.
